Monday
We enjoy a yummy cooked breakfast up at the big house, it's a beautiful morning and even those doing the domestic chores can't help but be happy
We gather at the dock after delivering our bags to the water taxi and say farewell to Lucy and Rob and beautiful Anakiwa.
Pig is down at the water front taking walk with Shayne, Tanya and the dogs, she comes to say farewell and to check if we have any food for her
Todays ride is the scenic Grove Arm Rd from Anakiwa to Picton
Looking straight across to Anakiwa
A mother duck and her ducklings spotted us and had to come and check us out
We watched these kayaks progress across the Sound
Inter-Island Ferry coming in to Picton
Morning tea at the water front in Picton
We get to see the kayakers arrive
Jane making sure the work place is safe
Lunch at Wiarau winery
Beer and pizza, perfect
Part of the group spent the afternoon touring the chocolate factory and some of the local wineries, I had a afternoon nap as I was feeling the effects of the bees sting
Julian receives the Tiki for letting Jane drive his car again (Julian rode all the way from Anakiwa to Blenheim)
Julian purchases a new crown and Alice receives it, something to do with the buttons in her car.
Phil introduces us to Hokey Pokey icecream, yum!
It was time for our final Wee Tiki Tour Itinary Briefing and it may have been the Hokey Pokey but we were worse than usual, Julie had to bring out the talking stick...it didn't really help, the jokes just got cruder
