Today we had a leisurely start to the day with a quick trip to the Nelson markets and a girls only breakfast where Julie entertained us with stories of what to expect at Hanmer Springs
This was a sad day as the group would be splitting up here with Jan and Alice staying in Nelson and John and Sue heading over to the North Islands
Julian found the perfect gift for Julie as a thank you for all the work she has put in to organise the trip
Somehow Andrew ended up with the crown
This is the moment when Andrew looked into the eyes of the cashier and said " I'm still wearing the crown aren't I" To his credit the young fellow just nodded and kept a pretty straight face.

Julian took Andrew and I on a quick blast around some of the purpose built bike track around Hanmer
